Welcome to the Jaguar Steadman TS100 enthusiasts club that I created after purchasing my car in 2011.
At that time I was led to believe that only 12 of these cars were produced, being very expensive , made to order and hand-built, until the company went into liquidation.
After purchasing my Steadman TS100 registration number EJA 972, my son William and I began by researching the history of my car and the company who built the cars. I wrote articles for local newspapers in Hayle, Cornwall where the cars were built by the company Ottercraft/ The Steadman Car Company. As a result I was contacted by some of the former employees who built the cars, especially Chris Symons who as an automotive engineer drew the numerous detailed plans for the various specific parts of the cars.
As time went by, I was fortunate to make contact with Bill Steadman’s family in the UK who were very supportive and this eventually led to Bill’s warehouse in Florida where a vast quantity of Steadman car parts had been stored since the company ceased business in the UK, apparently with a view to possibly building further TS100’s in the USA.
Over the years we have successfully traced many of the TS100’s built and they are spread across many countries including Japan, Australia, Belgium, France, the UK and recently New Zealand.
Unfortunately, the original club website disappeared about 2 years ago and I was led to believe that it was lost forever together with all the information and photographs that had been collected.
However, our newest member Colin Pander from New Zealand who is the owner of a BRG TS100 that he purchased in Japan has managed to retrieve much of the original website that had been archived and is very kindly assisting in its restoration, We hope you enjoy browsing thru these webpages .

Thank you to all those who were able to attend our 2017 meeting, it was a very good turnout and especially as some had travelled a considerable distance. Ronnie and Angela for instance, all the way from Preston and Stephen Mansfield travelled down from Rugby in his white TS100 and a return journey, all with the windscreen down - now that was dedication. It was also brilliant that Roger was able to get back into the seat of his son's car and take it for a run in the New Forest. It was good to welcome Mike Holloway and Carol, who also travelled quite some distance, as they are in the early stages of building a car and Simon very kindly took Mike for a run in his car so that he could experience travelling in a TS100. Some photographs of the event are attached under the 2017 section on this website. It was also wonderful that Derek and Ed Humber were able to join us briefly to see his former TS100 which he had not seen since I purchased it from him last year. Very nostalgic for them both, as they had treasured the car for many years. On a different note, a Japanese friend of mine found that the BRG TS100 in Japan was advertised for sale. She very kindly spoke with the owner and established that it's being offered for 8 million Yen, which I understand is about £57,000. It is part of a car collection in Japan and has very low mileage. Again, many thanks to you all for your continued support. That's it for now, Mike.
2016 Steadman Club Meeting
The best club meeting to date and a big thank you to all you attended - some members travelling quite some distance. Although only three TS100's were present, we were very honoured to have six TS100 owners who were able to discuss their respective cars and get to know one another. At this time a number of members cars are being worked on, so hopefully there will be more cars for next years meeting.
Unfortunately I forgot to take any photographs this year, but Chris saved the day and has very kindly forwarded me some photographs which I have added to the website.
Finally, thank you to Roger and Hazel for being so supportive and once again inviting us all to their home for tea to round off our day out.

2014 Steadman Club Meeting - 14th June in Godshill (Hampshire), UK
Steadman Club Meeting - 1th June 2013
The inaurgral meeting of the Steadman TS100 Club was held at The Fighting Cocks Pub in Fordingbridge (Hampshire) where three TS100's were present with their respective owners and partners, along with a fourth owner and partner who's car is currently undergoing extensive restoration. It was a lovely day which culminated in a rally on a route through the New Forest. We would like to thank everyone who attended, and it was fantastic to see three cars together possibly for the first time since they were built in Hayle.
We will be planning another Meeting for Summer 2014, and look forward to seeing you all there.
Wedding at Highclere Castle - July 2016
On 23rd July 2016 Rory and Kirsten, the latter being Bill Steadman's grand-daughter, were married at the fabulous location of Highclere Castle, Hampshire. At our meeting last year they invited members to attend the wedding with their cars as Bill together with his family would be there. Simon and Sandy and Sally and I were most honoured and pleased to take up the offer and attended, parking our two cars in pride of place at the front of the magnificent castle. Highclere Castle is of course well known today as the location for the filming of the very popular television series Downton Abbey.
We had a fantastic day and are most grateful to Rory, Kirsten and their respective families for inviting us and looking after us so well. We wish Rory and Kirsten every happiness for their future together.
A few photographs of our day at the wedding are attached.
